Artist’s Inspiration
Years ago I lived very near to an ancient woodland in Norwich called Mousehold woods. I loved spending time there and would go there during the day to enjoy the magic of the woods and late in the evening to enjoy the starry night. I loved the peace and serenity and the sounds of the woods.
In this lifetime I have spent many hours sitting quietly and enjoying the peace and tranquility of woodlands. I am very grateful for the healing and harmonising vibrations of the natural world and I have benefitted so much from the beautiful beings that inhabit these places.
Patience and commitment are so important in art. This painting requires a lot of both. The more my patience and commitment has grown through the years with my art, the more my patience and commitment have grown in life generally. For this I am truly grateful. I love noticing the beauty of life’s countless forms, and taking my time to enjoy the experience of putting these feelings of wonder and gratitude into my art. It’s my way of saying thankyou to the Divine for the creation of this awesome multiverse in which we are connecting, sharing, learning and growing.
