Artistโs inspiration
I call this painting Babaji’s Grace.
I painted it around springtime 2018. It is the second of three portraits of Babaji I have painted so far. In the black and white photo I worked from, Babaji seems to me to be consciously observing the entire creation. It is this infinite, expansive, eternal consciousness that I have endeavoured to reflect in this portrait. Babaji’s presence and teachings have great importance for me personally. So painting his portrait is always a very beautiful experience. I am sure I will paint more portraits of Babaji.
